Google Startup Weekend 2015 Reveals Big Plans for LZine
The Startup Weekend is an annual phenomenon that promises to be the best opportunity that a startup can be exposed to – all within 54 hours. The Google Startup Weekend 2015, which was hosted in Dubai from 19th to 21st November that year, enabled hundreds of startups from within UAE and around the world to communicate with other startups and brew new ideas within such a space.
LZine Technologies first presented its brainchild – LZine, an Intelligent Personal Assistant – to the tech startup community at the Google Startup Weekend 2015. While at this point it was just an idea, the reception and encouragement they received from their peers at the event helped to start making it a reality. Given that the Startup Weekend concept has instigated the creation of over 23000 teams and garnered more than 193k members as alumni, being able to introduce LZine at the event did indeed create one of the best exposures possible for the company.
Each day of the Startup Weekend worked towards motivating participating startups to find inspiration in every which way and facilitate them to relate to like-minded entrepreneurs. The first day of the Weekend aided LZine in bonding with other startups through a dinner & networking session, choosing a project, pitching an idea within 60 seconds, and building a team. During the second day, the company got to learn from the best mentors in the business, and get to work on their handpicked project. The third and final day finished off on a high note with a presentation of their project in front of an expert panel of judges, and celebrations of the huge accomplishments of and at the event.
